Ingredients
  

Coffee Base
  • 6 to 8 ounces hot brewed coffee or 1 to 2 shots espresso
Flavoring
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons toasted marshmallow syrup Adjust to taste.
  • pinch salt Optional, to balance sweetness.
Milk
  • 4 to 6 ounces milk of choice, warmed and frothed if possible
Optional Toppings
  • whipped cream
  • cold foam
  • mini marshmallows
  • pinch of crushed graham crackers
  • drizzle of caramel

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew the base: Make a strong cup of coffee or pull your espresso.
  2. Warm the milk: Heat gently until steamy and froth if possible.
  3. Sweeten: Stir in the toasted marshmallow syrup starting with 1 tablespoon.
  4. Combine: Pour the coffee into your mug, add the syrup, and top with the milk in a 1 to 1 ratio of coffee to milk.
  5. Finish: Add whipped cream or cold foam, and sprinkle mini marshmallows and crushed graham if desired.

Notes

If your drink tastes too sweet, add a pinch of salt. Experiment with different milk types and syrups to find your perfect balance.
