  • 2 cups shredded extra-sharp Cheddar cheese Use high-quality Cheddar for the best flavor.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
Additional Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
  • 1 jar diced pimento, drained A 4-ounce jar works well.
  • 1 each jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced Optional for heat.
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper Optional for more spice.
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste Adjust seasoning as preferred.

Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded Cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, drained pimento, minced jalapeño (if using), garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and onion powder.
  3. Mix everything until thoroughly combined and creamy.
  4. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
