Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup cold brew or chilled brewed coffee Use regular brewed coffee if cold brew is not available.
  • 1/4 cup full fat coconut milk Can substitute with almond or oat milk.
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds Adds nutrition and thickness.
  • 1/2 piece frozen banana Thicker texture with frozen banana.
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Enhances flavor.
  • 4-5 pieces ice cubes Add more if needed for thickness.
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder Can be omitted if not desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Put all your ingredients except the protein powder in your blender.
  2. Blend until smooth for about 30 seconds or until you see no chunks.
  3. If your smoothie is a little thin, add 4-5 ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
  4. Add your scoop of protein powder and pulse 4 or 5 times until mixed well.
  5. Pour your Iced Coffee Protein Shake into a glass. Enjoy!

Notes

For best flavor, enjoy shake immediately. Can be topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
