Ingredients
  

For the refresher base
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 cup chopped fresh mint leaves (packed) Use fresh mint for best flavor.
  • 0.5 cup white grape juice
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 0.75 cups fresh lime juice (about 6-8 limes) Use fresh limes for best flavor.
For serving
  • 0.5 cup Cool Lime Refresher Base
  • 0.5 cup water
  • to taste Ice Serve over ice.
  • optional Mint leaves and lime slices For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, stir together 1 ½ cups of water, chopped mint leaves, white grape juice, and granulated sugar.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool and steep at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  4. Strain out the mint leaves, squeezing them to extract as much liquid as possible.
  5. Transfer the strained liquid to a jar or pitcher, and stir in the fresh lime juice. Allow it to cool completely in the fridge.
Serving
  1. Mix ½ cup of the Cool Lime Refresher Base with ½ cup of water.
  2. Pour the mixture over ice and garnish with mint leaves and/or lime slices.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh ingredients and store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Consume within 3 to 5 days. You can also adjust sweetness and experiment with additional flavors.
