Preparation
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk with the butter until melted. Let it cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the milk mixture, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- After rising, shape the dough into a ring and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Insert dried fruits into the dough as desired.
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brush the top of the dough with an egg wash.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.

Store cooled cake at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Portion for easy meal prep.
