Dough Ingredients
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened tahini
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
For Finishing
  • as needed Butter for brushing
  • as needed Honey for drizzling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together tahini, warm milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 2 hours or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll and place them in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover and let the rolls rise for another hour.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Brush the warm rolls with butter and drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes

To store leftover Tahini Brioche, keep it in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze the rolls for up to 3 months.
