Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced Fresh strawberries are recommended.
  • 1/2 cup sugar or alternative sweetener Can substitute with monkfruit or stevia for a lower calorie version.
  • 4 cups water Use cold water for best results.
  • 1 slice lime Used for garnish.
  • Few sprigs mint Used for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix sliced strawberries, sugar or monkfruit sweetener, and 1 cup of water together in a medium bowl. Cover and leave in the fridge for 4 hours.
  2. Stir well, then pour the strawberry mixture into a blender and blend on high until smooth.
  3. Strain through a wire mesh strainer over a jug or bowl.
  4. Add the remaining water and stir to combine.
  5. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve or serve immediately over ice.
  6. Garnish with lime wheels and mint. Optionally, add a squeeze of lime juice right before serving.

Notes

Store in a covered pitcher or airtight bottle in the fridge for up to 3 days. Stir or shake before serving, as the fruit may settle. Frozen strawberry juice cubes can be used to chill drinks without watering down the flavor.
