Ingredients
  

Brownie Ingredients
  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced approximately 1/4 inch pieces
Glaze Ingredients
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Wash and dice your strawberries into small pieces (about 1/4 inch).
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the entire box of strawberry cake mix into your wet ingredients and whisk everything together until you have a smooth, pink batter.
  5. Add your diced fresh strawberries to the batter and gently fold them in using a spatula.
  6. Line an 8×8 or 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper or wax paper.
  7. Pour your strawberry brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with your spatula.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean with just a few moist crumbs.
  2. Let your brownies cool completely in the pan for about 30-45 minutes.
Glazing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour the glaze over your cooled brownies and spread it evenly with a spatula or the back of a spoon.
  3. Let the glaze set for about 10 minutes.
  4. Cut your brownies into even squares and garnish each square with a fresh strawberry slice or a strawberry cut into a heart shape.
  5. Serve at room temperature and enjoy!
