Preparation
- Stir the instant espresso powder into the hot boiling water until dissolved. Set aside.
- In a glass measuring cup, combine milk, ground cinnamon, light brown sugar, pure vanilla extract, and a pinch of ground nutmeg. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
Cooking
- Microwave the milk mixture for 1 minute and 30 seconds, watching to prevent overflow.
- Remove and stir the milk mixture, then microwave for an additional 30 seconds, or until it froths up.
- While stirring the espresso, slowly pour in the milk mixture until well combined.
Serving
- Top the drink with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh, can prepare espresso and milk mixture ahead. Reheat before serving. Do not freeze.
