Ingredients
  

For the latte
  • 3 cups Strongly brewed coffee Use fresh coffee grounds for best flavor.
  • 3 shots Espresso Optional, you can use only brewed coffee.
  • 2 cups Warmed apple juice Heat until warm, do not boil.
  • 2 cups Frothy whole milk Can substitute with almond or oat milk.
  • 3 tablespoons Honey Adjust to sweetness preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Pumpkin spice Can adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Nutmeg For garnish.
  • to taste Star Anise For garnish.
  • to taste Whipped Cream For topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew your favorite coffee or make the espresso shots using fresh coffee grounds.
  2. Pour the apple juice into a saucepan and warm it on the stovetop, do not let it boil.
  3. Stir in the honey and pumpkin spice into the warm apple juice and mix well.
  4. Froth the whole milk until it is light and creamy.
  5. In a mug, add the brewed coffee or espresso, followed by the warmed apple juice mixture, then top it with frothed milk.
  6. Add whipped cream on top, sprinkle with nutmeg, and garnish with Star Anise.

Notes

This latte is best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 days. Reheat gently. Freezing is not recommended as it can affect the texture.
