Preparation
- Wash, hull, and slice strawberries. Add to a medium bowl and sprinkle with sugar. Stir until well coated and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the drop biscuits as per the recipe and allow to cool.
- Meanwhile, prepare the whipped cream and refrigerate until ready to use.
Assembly
- Slice the biscuits in half. Place the biscuit bottom on a small plate, top with strawberries and strawberry liquid, followed by a dollop of whipped cream.
- Place the biscuit top on, then add a small spoon of strawberries and another dollop of whipped cream.
- Serve and enjoy while warm!
Notes
This dessert is best eaten right away for optimal texture. Store leftovers as noted above.
