A delightful drink that combines rich espresso flavors with sweet and spicy notes of cinnamon and sugar, inspired by the classic snickerdoodle cookie.

Ingredients
  

For the milk mixture
  • 1.5 cups 1 1/2 cup milk Use any type of milk you prefer.
  • 2 tbsp 2 tbsp light brown sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon Add more for a stronger cinnamon flavor.
For the coffee
  • 0.5 cups 1/2 cup espresso or strong brewed coffee, hot Brew your favorite espresso or strong coffee.
Optional toppings
  • Cinnamon Sugar to sprinkle on top Mix equal parts of sugar and cinnamon.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pour 1 1/2 cup of milk into a small jar.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of light brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon to the milk.
  3. Tighten the lid onto the jar and shake for about 1 minute to dissolve the sugar and mix the cinnamon.
  4. Remove the lid and heat the milk mixture in the microwave for about 30 seconds until warm but not boiling.
  5. Brew 1/2 cup of espresso or strong coffee.
  6. Pour the hot coffee or espresso into a mug and then add the warm milk mixture.
  7. If there's any foamy milk left in the jar, spoon it out and add it to the mug.
  8. Sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top for extra flavor.
Serving
  1. Serve the Snickerdoodle Latte warm and enjoy.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a day or two and reheated in the microwave. Do not freeze.
