Ingredients

For the frappuccino base
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled Or 2 shots espresso plus 1/2 cup cold water.
  • 3/4 cup milk Whole milk for richness or oat milk/2% as alternatives.
  • 1.5 to 2 cups ice More ice equals a thicker texture.
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons caramel sauce or syrup Plus more for drizzling.
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons mocha or chocolate sauce Homemade mocha sauce is recommended.
  • 1 pinch sea salt Plus another pinch for topping.
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons sweetener (optional) Sugar, maple syrup, or a zero-calorie sweetener.
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla Not required, but enhances flavor.
  • as needed whipped cream For topping, optional but recommended.

Method

Preparation
  1. Chill your coffee or espresso first.
  2. Add to a blender: coffee, milk, 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, 1 tablespoon mocha sauce, vanilla, a small pinch of sea salt, and 1 cup of ice.
  3. Blend until smooth. Adjust thickness by adding more ice if thin or a splash of milk if too thick.
  4. Taste and adjust flavor with additional caramel or mocha sauce as desired.
  5. Drizzle caramel inside your glass, pour in the frappuccino, top with whipped cream, and finish with caramel drizzle and a pinch of sea salt.

Notes

Use cold coffee to avoid melting the ice too quickly. Adjust ice and sweetness according to personal preference. Use dairy-free options if desired.
