Preparation
- Brew Your Coffee: Start by brewing a cup of your favorite coffee or pulling a shot of espresso.
- Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, heat the milk over low to medium heat. Make sure not to boil it. Stir occasionally to keep it from burning.
- Add Caramel: Once the milk is warm, whisk in the caramel sauce until it is well mixed and creamy.
- Combine: Pour the brewed coffee into a large mug. Then, gently pour the caramel milk mixture over the coffee. Stir together.
- Sweeten: Add the sugar and stir until it is fully dissolved.
- Brûlée the Top (Optional): Sprinkle a thin layer of sugar over the top of the latte. Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until it turns golden brown and crunchy. Be careful not to burn it!
- Finish It Off: If you like, top it with whipped cream and drizzle more caramel over the top. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt for extra flavor.
- Serve: Enjoy your Salted Caramel Brûlée Latte warm!
