Ingredients
  

Tea and Liquid
  • 2-3 bags black tea (Assam, Darjeeling, or English Breakfast)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1.5 cup whole milk
Sweetener
  • 1-2 teaspoon sugar (or more, to taste) Adjust sweetness to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, add the water. Turn on the heat and bring it to a boil.
  2. Once the water is boiling, add the black tea bags. Lower the heat to a low simmer.
  3. Let the tea simmer gently for about 2 minutes.
  4. Add the whole milk to the saucepan. Keep a close eye on it and remove the saucepan from the heat just before it starts to boil.
  5. Carefully remove the tea bags from the saucepan, squeezing them gently to extract any remaining flavor.
  6. Serve the Royal Milk Tea in a cup, adding sugar to sweeten according to your taste, and mix well.

Notes

Royal Milk Tea can be served hot or chilled. Pair it with snacks like biscuits or cookies for a delightful treat. Store any leftovers in the fridge and consume within 2-3 days for best flavor.
