Ingredients

Mocktail Ingredients
  • 1 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed or bottled Use fresh juice for the best flavor
  • 1 oz grapefruit juice (optional) Adds a slightly bitter edge
  • 1 oz orange juice, freshly squeezed or bottled Use fresh juice for optimal taste
  • 4 oz lime sparkling water Provides fizzy texture
  • 0.5 oz agave Can be substituted with a sugar-free sweetener
  • 1 oz alcohol-free tequila (optional) For a hint of spirit without alcohol
  • 1 piece fresh lime, for garnish Adds a fresh touch
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt, for rim (optional) Enhances flavor if desired

Method

Preparation
  1. For the optional salt rim, place salt in a shallow dish. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and press it into the salt, shaking off any excess.
  2. In a shaker, combine lime juice, orange juice, grapefruit juice (if using), tequila (if using), and agave with 3-4 cubes of ice.
  3. Shake for 15-20 seconds, then strain the mixture into your glass over fresh ice.
  4. Top with lime sparkling water for a sparkling version.
  5. Garnish with fresh lime and serve.

Notes

This mocktail is also great for meal prep. Store any leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 48 hours. For a fun twist, freeze the juice mixture into ice cubes and use them later in drinks.
