Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- Cut the French loaf in half both ways to create four pieces.
- Brush both sides of all the pieces of bread with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake on the middle rack for 3-4 minutes or until they start to get golden brown, cut side up.
Topping and Baking
- Remove bread from oven, add desired sauce, cheese, and toppings.
- Sprinkle a little extra cheese over the toppings to help them stick to the pizza.
- Bake for another 5-7 minutes until nice and melty, then serve immediately.
Notes
To store: Let pizzas cool, place in an airtight container or wrap in foil, and store in the fridge for 3-4 days. For freezing, wrap each pizza tightly and freeze up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating. Pair with a salad for a healthier meal.
