Ingredients
  

For the sandwiches
  • 1 large Cucumber Thinly sliced
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • 4 slices Bread Whole grain recommended for a healthier option
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill or parsley Optional, for flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Thinly slice the cucumber aiming for a quarter-inch thickness.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with salt, pepper, and herbs if using.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on slices of bread.
  4. Layer the cucumber slices on top of the cream cheese.
  5. Top with another slice of bread and gently press down.
  6. Cut into quarters and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Best consumed within 24 hours for optimal freshness. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
