Base Ingredients
  • 2 oz espresso Brewed espresso
  • 1 cup vanilla protein shake Use low-sugar for lower calories
  • ice ice To preference
Flavor Additions
  • 2 tablespoon toasted vanilla syrup Optional for vanilla flavor
  • 2 tablespoon mocha sauce Optional for mocha flavor
  • 1 cup chocolate protein shake Use low-sugar for lower calories
  • 2 tablespoon caramel sauce Optional for caramel flavor
  • 1 cup caramel protein shake Use low-sugar for lower calories

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew espresso, then stir in the syrup or sauce of choice until dissolved. Set aside.
  2. Add ice to a tall glass.
  3. Pour in the protein shake, then top with the sweetened espresso.
  4. Serve cold and enjoy!

Notes

Best consumed fresh. Drink within 1–2 hours for best texture and taste. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Optional frozen espresso ice cubes can be used to cool the drink without dilution.
