Method
Cooking the Strawberries
- Place the strawberries and sweetener in a pan over low heat.
- Cook for 10 minutes or until the strawberries are nice and mushy, stirring occasionally.
- Set aside to cool.
Blending
- Place the strawberry mixture and dairy-free milk in a blender.
- Blitz until smooth.
Serving
- Pour into a big glass or two smaller glasses and enjoy.
- Optional: Top with whipped coconut cream and a sprinkle of freeze-dried strawberry powder.
Notes
If you have any leftover strawberry milk, store it in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to two days or freeze it in an ice cube tray for later use in smoothies or frozen treats.
