Main Ingredients
  • 5 cups Rice Chex cereal, divided
  • 1 cup mini pretzels (Snyder's Gluten Free recommended) Use gluten-free for dietary restrictions.
  • 10 ounces white melting chocolate Can substitute dark chocolate if desired.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (white or colored pink)
  • 6 ounces Valentine's Day M&Ms Feel free to use other colored chocolate candies for variations.
  • Sprinkles (optional) Use any fun sprinkles for decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper to make clean-up easy.
  2. Add the Rice Chex cereal to a large bowl and keep it ready for coating.
  3. Place the powdered sugar in a gallon-size zip-top bag for coating.
Coating with Chocolate
  1. Microwave the white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted. Be careful not to overheat.
  2. Pour the melted chocolate over the Rice Chex cereal and stir gently to coat evenly.
  3. Transfer half of the chocolate-coated mixture to the bag with powdered sugar, seal it, and shake well to coat completely.
  4. Fold the mini pretzels into the remaining chocolate-coated cereal mix.
Finishing Touches
  1. Spread the entire mixture onto the prepared parchment paper.
  2. Sprinkle on the M&Ms and any additional sprinkles.
  3. Take the powdered sugar-coated Chex from the bag and sprinkle it on top.
  4. Allow the mix to rest for about 20 minutes to set.
  5. Once set, gently break up any large chunks before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. Can be frozen for longer storage.
