- In a blender, combine the chopped pineapples, habanero peppers, vinegar, and water. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan and add brown sugar, salt, and garlic powder.
Cooking
- Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat and cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Once cooled, transfer to a bottle or jar and refrigerate.
Notes
Wear gloves when handling habanero peppers and wash your hands and tools afterward. The flavors blend and mellow after a day in the fridge. Can be frozen for longer storage.
