Ingredients
  

For the latte
  • 1 cup barista-style oat milk Use a good quality oat milk for creaminess.
  • 3 tbsp pecan syrup Can substitute with other flavored syrups if desired.
  • 2 oz espresso Alternatively, use 8 oz of freshly brewed coffee.
Optional toppings
  • Maple sugar chunks For an extra sweet touch.
  • Crushed pecans Use as a topping for added texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Whisk together the oat milk and pecan syrup in a small saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring gently until it starts to steam and foam. Be careful not to let it boil.
  3. Once heated, remove the saucepan from heat. Froth the milk mixture until it has a nice frothy texture.
  4. Brew your espresso or coffee into a mug.
  5. Pour the pecan milk on top of the brewed coffee, ensuring to include all the frothy goodness.
  6. Sprinkle maple sugar chunks on top if desired.

Notes

Serve hot or cold over ice. Use clear glasses to showcase the layers of the latte. For added flair, top with crushed pecans or a dash of cinnamon.
