Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 bags black tea
  • 1/2 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice or store-bought
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 3-4 whole cloves
  • 1 piece star anise optional
  • 1-2 tbsp honey to taste
Garnishes
  • Fresh orange slices optional, for garnish
  • Cinnamon sticks optional, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot.
  2. Once the water reaches a boil, add the black tea bags, cinnamon stick, cloves, and optional star anise. Let the tea and spices simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  3. After simmering, remove the tea bags and spices (cinnamon stick, cloves, star anise) from the pot.
  4. Stir in the fresh-squeezed orange juice and honey. Mix well until the honey is dissolved.
  5. Pour the tea into mugs. If desired, garnish with a fresh orange slice and a cinnamon stick for extra flavor and presentation. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Pairs well with snacks like cookies, pastries, or even a light meal. Ideal for sharing during gatherings.
