Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and garlic powder.
- Add the warm water and olive oil, then mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Fold in the shredded cheese and minced garlic.
- Scoop the batter into a greased 9 by 13 inch pan and spread it evenly.
- Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Baking
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before cutting into strips for breadsticks or serving as flatbread.
