Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter Choose according to preference.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Maple syrup can be used to make it vegan.
  • A pinch salt Optional.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional.
Mix-ins
  • 1/2 cup nuts (chopped) Use your choice of nuts.
  • 1/4 cup dried fruits (chopped) Customize with your favorite dried fruits.
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips Optional.

Preparation
  1. Start by lining your baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, peanut butter, honey, and salt. Stir everything together using a spatula or a wooden spoon until you have a thick and sticky mixture.
  3. If you are using nuts, dried fruits, or chocolate chips, fold them into the mixture until they are evenly distributed.
Assembly
  1. Pour the mixture into the lined baking pan. Use the spatula to spread it out evenly and press the mixture down firmly.
  2. Place the baking pan in the refrigerator for about 1 to 2 hours to help the bars firm up.
  3. Once they are chilled and firm, take the bars out of the refrigerator and cut them into squares or rectangles.
Serving
  1. Enjoy your No-bake Breakfast Bars right away or store them for later.

Notes

These bars can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. For long-term storage, wrap each bar and freeze up to three months.
