Preparation
- Start by lining your baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, peanut butter, honey, and salt. Stir everything together using a spatula or a wooden spoon until you have a thick and sticky mixture.
- If you are using nuts, dried fruits, or chocolate chips, fold them into the mixture until they are evenly distributed.
Assembly
- Pour the mixture into the lined baking pan. Use the spatula to spread it out evenly and press the mixture down firmly.
- Place the baking pan in the refrigerator for about 1 to 2 hours to help the bars firm up.
- Once they are chilled and firm, take the bars out of the refrigerator and cut them into squares or rectangles.

Notes
These bars can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. For long-term storage, wrap each bar and freeze up to three months.
