Ingredients
  

For the Banana Layer
  • 1 frozen frozen banana Use a ripe banana for sweetness.
  • 60 ml dairy-free milk Any dairy-free milk of your choice.
For the Chocolate Layer
  • 60 ml dairy-free milk For the chocolate layer.
  • 2 tbsp dairy-free natural yogurt
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder Unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
For the Strawberry Layer
  • 60 ml dairy-free milk For the strawberry layer.
  • 3 tbsp frozen strawberries

Method
 

Preparation of Layers
  1. Place the frozen banana and 60 ml of dairy-free milk in your blender. Blend until smooth. This will be your first layer.
  2. Pour the banana mixture into a glass. Then, place it in the freezer for about 10 minutes to help it set.
  3. For the chocolate layer, add 60 ml of dairy-free milk, 2 tablespoons of dairy-free yogurt, 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder, and 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup to a clean blender. Blend until smooth.
  4. Carefully pour the chocolate mixture on top of the banana layer and return the glass to the freezer for another 10 minutes.
  5. Blend together 60 ml of dairy-free milk and 3 tablespoons of frozen strawberries until smooth.
  6. Once the chocolate layer is set, gently pour the strawberry mixture on top.
  7. Optionally, top with whipped coconut cream and a drizzle of dairy-free chocolate sauce.

Notes

Serve in a tall glass with a straw and garnish with sliced strawberries or a sprinkle of cocoa powder. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for a few hours, but best enjoyed immediately. Freezing is possible, but it may change the texture.
