  • 6-8 ounces Freshly brewed hot coffee Medium roast is preferred for a balanced taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Mushroom powder blend Consider reishi for calm or lion’s mane for focus.
  • 4-6 ounces Milk of choice Oat milk is recommended for creaminess.
  • 1-2 teaspoons Pure maple syrup or honey Can be omitted if preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon Cocoa powder Optional, adds chocolate flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract Optional, adds subtle sweetness.
  • pinch Cinnamon Optional, rounds out flavor.
  • pinch Sea salt Optional, enhances overall taste.

Method
 

Blender Method
  1. Brew your coffee and let it sit for 30 seconds.
  2. Add coffee, mushroom powder, milk, sweetener, cocoa, vanilla, and seasonings to a blender.
  3. Blend for 10 to 20 seconds until smooth and frothy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or creaminess as needed.
  5. Pour into a mug and sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired.
No Blender Method
  1. Whisk mushroom powder with a tablespoon of hot coffee in a mug to make a smooth paste.
  2. Stir in the rest of the coffee, then add the milk and sweetener.
  3. Use a handheld frother for 10 to 15 seconds until foamy, or whisk briskly.
  4. Sip and enjoy the velvety texture.

Notes

Store mushroom powder in a cool, dry cupboard with the lid tight to maintain freshness.
