  • 1 cup cold brew coffee or chilled brewed coffee Any type of cold brew or chilled coffee works.
  • 1 scoop vanilla or chocolate protein powder Use your preferred flavor.
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice) Can substitute with any non-dairy milk.
  • 1 cup ice cubes For serving.
  • 1-2 tsp sugar-free sweetener (optional) Adjust sweetness to preference.
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional) Enhances flavor.

Preparation
  1. In a shaker bottle or mason jar with a tight lid, combine the protein powder and almond milk.
  2. Shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds until completely smooth and frothy.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour the cold coffee over the ice.
  4. Slowly pour the protein mixture over the coffee.
  5. Stir gently and add sweetener or vanilla extract if desired.
  6. Enjoy immediately for the best texture.

Notes

Best served fresh. If storing, keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a day. Avoid freezing the proffee as it affects texture.
