Baking Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix just until a dough forms.
- Scoop dough into balls about 2–3 tablespoons each and place 2–3 inches apart on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges begin to lightly brown.
- Remove from oven and immediately press nine M&Ms into each cookie to form a bunny face.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. To freeze, place cookies in a single layer with parchment and freeze for up to 3 months.
