Preparation
- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the tea bags (or loose tea) and the spices (cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and ginger).
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat, strain the mixture, and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
- Allow the concentrate to cool before storing it in the refrigerator.
Serving
- Mix equal parts of concentrate and milk (or a non-dairy alternative), heating it before serving.
Notes
Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays and transfer to a freezer-safe bag once solid.
