Ingredients
  

Tea Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp loose-leaf Earl Grey tea or 3 tea bags
  • cup water for steeping
Milk and Flavoring
  • ½ cup whole milk or milk of choice
  • 2 tbsp vanilla syrup adjust for sweetness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the loose-leaf Earl Grey tea in a tea infuser and set it in a coffee mug. If using tea bags, skip this step.
  2. Heat the water until it reaches a boil, then pour it over the tea infuser (or tea bags) in the mug.
  3. Allow the tea to steep for about 5 minutes to extract the flavors.
  4. Remove the tea infuser or tea bags and discard.
Milk Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, pour the milk and vanilla syrup. Stir gently.
  2. Heat the mixture until steaming, but do not boil.
  3. Remove from heat and froth the milk using a frother or whisk.
Combining
  1. Pour the frothed milk into your mug with the tea, ensuring to include the froth.
  2. Stir gently if desired, and enjoy.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon on top, or serve with cookies. You can also offer milk alternatives for guests.
