Preparation
- Place the loose-leaf Earl Grey tea in a tea infuser and set it in a coffee mug. If using tea bags, skip this step.
- Heat the water until it reaches a boil, then pour it over the tea infuser (or tea bags) in the mug.
- Allow the tea to steep for about 5 minutes to extract the flavors.
- Remove the tea infuser or tea bags and discard.
Milk Preparation
- In a small saucepan, pour the milk and vanilla syrup. Stir gently.
- Heat the mixture until steaming, but do not boil.
- Remove from heat and froth the milk using a frother or whisk.
Combining
- Pour the frothed milk into your mug with the tea, ensuring to include the froth.
- Stir gently if desired, and enjoy.
Notes
For added flavor, sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon on top, or serve with cookies. You can also offer milk alternatives for guests.
