Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the glutinous rice flour and sugar. Gradually add water until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 16 equal portions.
- Flatten each portion and place a small amount of red bean paste in the center.
- Seal the dough around the filling and roll into a ball.
- Coat each ball in sesame seeds.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the sesame balls in batches until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Notes
These sesame balls can be served warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
