Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups pickled jalapeño peppers
  • 1 cup oval-shaped dill pickle slices
  • 1 tablespoon tequila Can be replaced with apple cider vinegar for a lighter version.
  • 1 clove garlic, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a food processor, combine the pickled jalapeños, dill pickle slices, tequila, garlic, onion, cracked pepper, fresh dill, and hot pepper sauce.
  2. Pulse several times until all ingredients are finely chopped and well mixed.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl or jar.
  4. Chill the relish in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Notes

This relish can be served over grilled chicken, fish, or tacos. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks or freeze in small portions for longer storage.
