  • ¾ cup milk of choice Choose any type of milk such as almond, soy, oat, or regular dairy milk.
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup Adjust according to your taste.
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice Plus more for garnish.
  • 2 oz espresso (or 8 oz brewed coffee) Espresso for bolder flavor, brewed coffee for milder.
  • to taste Whipped cream Optional for topping.

Preparation
  1. In a mason jar or another container, combine the milk, maple syrup, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice.
  2. Whisk the mixture well using a milk frother or shake in the jar until combined.
Assembly
  1. Add ice to a tall glass. Pour the espresso over the ice.
  2. Next, pour in the pumpkin milk mixture over the espresso.
  3. Top with whipped cream if desired and sprinkle extra pumpkin pie spice on top.
