Method
Prepare the Cold Brew Coffee
- Place the ground coffee and 500 ml of cold water in a jar.
- Stir the mixture well.
- Leave it at room temperature for 8 hours.
Strain the Coffee
- After 8 hours, strain the coffee using a fine sieve or a French press.
- Store the cold brew coffee in the fridge until you are ready to use it.
Make the Cinnamon Syrup
- In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, and 60 ml of water.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat.
- Cook and stir occasionally for about 5 minutes until well combined.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Store in an airtight jar in the fridge.
Assemble the Iced Latte
- In a large glass, pour 125 ml of cold brew coffee.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of cinnamon syrup.
- Add crushed ice to fill the glass.
- Slowly pour in 125 ml of dairy-free milk and stir gently to mix.
Notes
For serving, add a straw and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon. Store cold brew coffee in an airtight container for up to a week and cinnamon syrup for two weeks in the fridge.
