- Brew your coffee. Hot and fresh is best.
- In your mug, stir together the cocoa mix and a splash of hot coffee to make a smooth paste. This prevents lumps.
- Pour in the rest of the coffee and stir well.
- Warm the milk until steamy, then add to the mug.
- Sweeten to taste. Add vanilla and a pinch of salt if you like.
- Top with whipped cream or marshmallows. Sip and smile.
Notes
For a colder version, freeze leftover coffee into cubes. To make it creamy, whisk the milk before heating. Use a mix of cocoas for depth.
