  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup prepared horseradish Adjust to taste for milder or spicier sauce.
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce Optional, for added umami flavor.
  • 1 tbsp chives Chopped, optional for garnish.

Preparation
  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine sour cream, horseradish, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce (if using).
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Before serving, stir the sauce, garnish with chives, and serve cold with prime rib or steak.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Do not freeze as it will change the texture.
