  • 4 pieces ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 bags tea bags (black or green tea)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  4. In a blender, puree the sliced peaches until smooth.
  5. Combine the peach puree with the brewed tea and stir well.
  6. Chill the tea in the refrigerator or serve immediately over ice.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Store leftover tea in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in a covered pitcher. You can freeze it in ice cube trays for later use. Adjust sweetness by changing the sugar amount or using honey.
