Preparation
- In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
- In a blender, puree the sliced peaches until smooth.
- Combine the peach puree with the brewed tea and stir well.
- Chill the tea in the refrigerator or serve immediately over ice.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
Store leftover tea in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in a covered pitcher. You can freeze it in ice cube trays for later use. Adjust sweetness by changing the sugar amount or using honey.
