Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 handful Dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger (sliced) Adjust based on spice preference
  • 1 inch Fresh turmeric (sliced) Adjust based on spice preference
Optional Ingredients
  • to taste tablespoon Honey For sweetness
  • to taste tablespoon Lemon juice For added flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pour water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add a handful of dried hibiscus flowers, sliced fresh ginger, and fresh turmeric.
Cooking
  1. Reduce the heat to a low simmer and let it cook for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Strain the tea into a cup using a strainer.
  3. Add honey and lemon juice to taste, stirring well.
Serving
  1. Enjoy the tea hot or let it cool down and serve over ice as a refreshing iced tea.

Notes

Store leftover tea in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. You can freeze it in ice cube trays for later use.
