Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (5% fat recommended) Provides creaminess and protein
  • 0.5 pieces lemon (juice of half) Can substitute with 2 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25-0.5 teaspoon dried dill Adjust according to taste preference
  • to taste none Salt
  • 1-3 tablespoons water (optional, for thinning) Add for desired consistency
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, thinly sliced Provides fresh flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients.
  2. In a jar or an airtight container, add 1 cup of Greek yogurt.
  3. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon (or add 2 tablespoons of vinegar) to the yogurt.
  4. Add ½ teaspoon of garlic powder and ½ teaspoon of onion powder.
  5. Sprinkle in ¼ to ½ teaspoon of dried dill, depending on your taste preference.
  6. Add salt to taste.
  7. If you want a thinner dressing, add 1 to 3 tablespoons of water.
  8. Finally, add the fresh chives, thinly sliced.
  9. Close the jar or container and shake it until everything is well combined and smooth.

Notes

This dressing can be served as a salad dressing, dip for vegetables, or spread on sandwiches. Stores well in the refrigerator for about a week. Shake before use.
