  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Can be replaced with Greek yogurt for a healthier version.
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, gluten free all-purpose flour, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Add the softened butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add cold water until the dough comes together.
  5. Roll the dough out between two sheets of parchment paper until about 1/8 inch thick.
  6. Cut the dough into 1-inch squares or desired shapes and place onto a baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.

Notes

Store cooled crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Let frozen crackers thaw at room temperature and reheat in a 300°F oven for 4-6 minutes to refresh.
