Ingredients
  

For the Mocktail
  • 1 inch grated ginger
  • 1 inch grated cucumber
  • 0.5 lime Juice of half a lime
  • 6 leaves mint leaves
  • 0.5 cup sparkling water
  • 0.5 cup diet ginger ale

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Muddle ginger, cucumber, and lime in a small bowl.
  2. Strain the mixture into your glass using a small strainer, pressing on the mixture to extract all the juice.
  3. Clap the mint leaves together in your hands to release the oils, then add them to your glass.
  4. Add ice and top with half diet ginger ale and half sparkling water. Stir gently.
  5. Garnish with lime wheels, ginger, cucumber, or mint and serve.

Notes

For best flavor, serve immediately after mixing. Store the muddled base in the fridge for up to 48 hours without adding the fizzy ingredients. For parties, pre-make the muddled base and add fizzy drinks when serving.
