Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain whole milk For creaminess
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Adds richness
Flavor Additions
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Adds tanginess
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt To taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper For mild spiciness
Herbs and Optional Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced Alternatives: dill or cilantro can be used
  • 1 tablespoon tahini (optional) For extra flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine the Greek yogurt and mayonnaise in a mixing bowl. Blend until smooth.
  2. Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the yogurt and mayo mixture.
  3. Squeeze in the lemon juice.
  4. Sprinkle in the salt and white pepper, and stir until well combined.
  5. Mix in the minced fresh parsley and tahini if using.
  6. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Stir before serving. Freezing is also an option, but texture may change slightly.
