Ingredients
  

Fresh Ingredients
  • 4 to 5 leaves basil leaves Fresh basil for flavor
  • 0.5 oz lime juice (fresh is best) Use freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 oz cucumber juice Freshly juiced cucumber is ideal
  • 2 oz dry non-alcoholic white wine (or white grape juice) Use either non-alcoholic wine or grape juice
  • 0.5 oz elderflower cordial or syrup Adjust sweetness to taste
  • to taste Extra basil and edible flowers For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place lime juice and basil into your shaker and muddle the basil a few times until lightly bruised.
  2. Add cucumber juice, non-alcoholic white wine, and elderflower cordial or syrup to the shaker with a few cubes of ice. Replace the lid and shake for about 15 seconds.
  3. Strain into a martini or coupe glass and garnish with extra basil and/or edible flowers.
Batch Instructions
  1. Muddle basil and lime juice in a pitcher or punch bowl.
  2. Add cucumber juice, wine, and elderflower, and stir gently.
  3. Serve over ice or add some cubes of ice to the pitcher.

Notes

For the best flavor, serve fresh. Leftover cucumber juice and elderflower cordial can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but avoid storing the mixed drink itself.
