Preparation
- Add the eggnog, whole milk, vanilla syrup, and nutmeg into a small saucepan. Stir until well combined.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat. Heat the mixture until small bubbles form around the edges, being careful not to let it boil.
- Remove the saucepan from heat once bubbling is observed.
- Froth the eggnog mixture until it becomes foamy using a milk frother, whisk, or blender.
- Brew your espresso (or prepare 8 oz of brewed coffee).
- Pour the espresso into a coffee mug and top with the frothed eggnog mixture.
- Sprinkle some extra nutmeg on top and optionally add whipped cream.
Notes
For storage, refrigerate leftover Eggnog Latte in an airtight container and consume within a day or two. Froth again after reheating if desired. Experiment with flavors and toppings for customization.
