Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • ¾ cup eggnog Use high-quality eggnog for best flavor.
  • ¼ cup whole milk Can substitute with non-dairy milk.
  • 2 tsp vanilla syrup Adjust for sweetness preference.
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg For garnish, sprinkle extra on top.
  • 2 oz espresso Can use 8 oz brewed coffee if no espresso machine.

Method

Preparation
  1. Add the eggnog, whole milk, vanilla syrup, and nutmeg into a small saucepan. Stir until well combined.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat. Heat the mixture until small bubbles form around the edges, being careful not to let it boil.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat once bubbling is observed.
  4. Froth the eggnog mixture until it becomes foamy using a milk frother, whisk, or blender.
  5. Brew your espresso (or prepare 8 oz of brewed coffee).
  6. Pour the espresso into a coffee mug and top with the frothed eggnog mixture.
  7. Sprinkle some extra nutmeg on top and optionally add whipped cream.

Notes

For storage, refrigerate leftover Eggnog Latte in an airtight container and consume within a day or two. Froth again after reheating if desired. Experiment with flavors and toppings for customization.
