Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 piece lemon (juiced) Juice one half of the lemon
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional) Can be replaced with agave or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • to taste leaves fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • as needed cubes ice cubes (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the lemon thoroughly.
  2. Cut the lemon in half and juice one half into a cup, removing the seeds.
  3. In a blender, combine water, lemon juice, honey (if using), apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until well mixed.
  5. Strain the mixture using a strainer or cheesecloth for a smoother texture, if preferred.
  6. Pour the drink into a glass or jar.
  7. Add fresh mint leaves and ice cubes if desired.
  8. Stir the drink gently and serve immediately.

Notes

Best consumed fresh; can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours but may lose freshness. Not suitable for freezing.
