Preparation
- Wash the lemon thoroughly.
- Cut the lemon in half and juice one half into a cup, removing the seeds.
- In a blender, combine water, lemon juice, honey (if using), apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper.
- Blend on high for about 30 seconds until well mixed.
- Strain the mixture using a strainer or cheesecloth for a smoother texture, if preferred.
- Pour the drink into a glass or jar.
- Add fresh mint leaves and ice cubes if desired.
- Stir the drink gently and serve immediately.
Notes
Best consumed fresh; can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours but may lose freshness. Not suitable for freezing.
