- Once hot, stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the dark hot cocoa into your favorite mug and enjoy!
Notes
Serve topped with whipped cream, cocoa powder, marshmallows, or shaved chocolate. A sprinkle of sea salt enhances the chocolate flavor. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
