Ingredients
  

For the Fried Brie
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese Cut into wedges
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Gluten-free breadcrumbs can be used
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil For frying
  • 2 tablespoons Honey For drizzling
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper Freshly cracked
For the Lemon-Herb Olives
  • 1 cup Olives Pitted and halved
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Mixed herbs Such as thyme or rosemary
For Serving
  • 4 ounces Prosciutto Sliced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the Brie cheese into wedges.
  2. Dip each wedge into beaten eggs and then coat with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry the Brie wedges until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. In a separate pan, warm olives with lemon juice and herbs for 3-4 minutes.
Serving
  1. Drizzle honey over the fried Brie and sprinkle with black pepper.
  2. Serve warm with prosciutto and lemon-herb olives on the side.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider using whole wheat or gluten-free breadcrumbs, frying in less oil or baking the Brie instead. Store leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
