  • 6 pieces hard-boiled eggs Make sure they are well-cooked.
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning Adjust per taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce Use more or less according to your spice preference.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Paprika For garnish.
  • Crispy bacon bits Optional topping for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks.
  2. In a bowl, combine the egg yolks, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  4. Sprinkle with paprika and add crispy bacon bits if desired.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

For portion control, serve with veggies or whole-grain crackers. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days in the fridge. Not recommended for freezing.
